Job Description
Wattle Range Council has an exciting permanent part-time role based in Penola. With 24hrs available across morning and afternoon shifts.
This position provides specialist advice and administrative support to Council's tourism and customer service functions.
Provide advice, training and support to Council workers on their tourism and customer service responsibilities.
Administer Council's visitor information centre, event management, caravan park and customer service systems and processes.
Analyse and report on key tourism trends to foster continuous improvement
Monitor, maintain and comply with all of Council's policies, procedures and legislative requirements within assigned delegations of authority
Perform other functions as directed by the Community Development Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
Relevant industry experience in tourism and/or customer service
